Prince of Peace Catholic School relies upon the generosity of its families, parishes, donors to provide for the needs of our school. The annual tuition and fees account for 86% of the school's revenue. The other 14% comes through fundraising and philanthropy.
We ask that you prayerfully consider giving to Prince of Peace as one of your philanthropic priorities. There are few greater gifts that someone can give someone else than the gift of a Catholic education - Catholic schools change lives!
There are many options for your giving - choose the one that means the most to you!
1) Contribute to the POP Share the Spirit Annual Fund during our yearly September Month of Giving. The Annual Fund allows the school to hire and sustain the employment of outstanding faculty and staff members; outfit our teachers and classrooms with the latest acaademic technology; assist in financial aid; and finance the little "extras" that make Prince of Peace special for students.
2) Support the annual POP Auction & Gala! Auction & Gala proceeds are allocated toward a particular project each year that the whole school can enjoy. In 2021-2022, for example, we were able to completely renovate the Cana Center, our school cafeteria, in conjunction with the new construction project. With fresh indoor facilities and a new audiovisual system, the Prince of Peace community is enjoying a revamped space to gather and grow.
3) Start a scholarship to honor a loved one! A minimum gift of $25,000 and a commitment to replenish the gift each year will yield a half-tuition scholarship per year. Donors have the opportunity to both name the scholarship and work in conjunction with administration to establish the criteria based on financial need. A $50,000 gift with a commitment to replenish each year provides two half scholarships. If you would like to talk about these two possibilities, or would like to endow a gift in perpetuity, please call or email Mr. Faustin Weber, President, at (972) 380-5505 or [email protected].
4) Buy a brick in the St. Francis Prayer Garden. This is a lovely way to memorialize a loved one or celebrate your child's or grandchild's graduation from Prince of Peace. For more information, please click here: St. Francis Prayer Garden.
6) To make a transformational gift that will help sustain and advance the future of Prince of Peace, consider making a "legacy gift" in your will. For more information, please call Mr. Faustin Weber, President, at (972) 380-5505 or email him at [email protected].
In the fall of each year, we will publish all those who have given to the school from the previous school year, according to levels of giving, as a way of publicly recognizing your gift. All gifts made to Prince of Peace are tax-deductible. Thank you for your continued support and generosity!
