Safe Environment

We're excited to welcome all volunteers back to campus for the 2024-2025 school year who have been cleared through the diocesan Safe Environment program. Please see the instructions below for information on how to apply for Safe Environment clearance and/or renew your cleared status. All volunteers must participate in an annual training update.  

To ensure the safety and well-being of the students of Prince of Peace Catholic School, all volunteers must complete the Safe Environment requirements and training as stipulated by the Diocese of Dallas.

• Step 1: Complete the Safe Environment Screening Form. Under the location info section, please identify “Prince of Peace School-Plano” for location and “volunteer” for position.
• Step 2: Read the Diocese of Dallas Computer Internet Policy and Diocese of Dallas Social Media Policy. Both documents have a signature page that needs to be signed and returned to Mrs. Nicole Mahaffey at [email protected].
• Step 3: Once you are logged in, click on "My Obligations" and watch the training video, Standard Sexual Abuse Training (MinistrySafe). Please note that the video may be renamed for the 2024-2025 school year; once confirmed, the changes will be updated on our website and in outgoing correspondences.

• Step 1: Go to https://dallas.setanet.org and click on "My Obligations." Type in your name and address, and scroll to the bottom and click on "Update."
• Step 2: The training video is in English or Spanish. Please pick one. The video is about an hour.
• Step 3: At the end, scroll down and click on "Take Quiz." The results will be automatically uploaded into the online database.
