We require that all on-campus volunteers have Safe Environment clearance. The Safe Environment Program includes a brief online training, background check, and other procedures that are designed to reduce the risk of inappropriate interactions at schools and parishes in the Diocese of Dallas. Safe Environment clearance must be renewed every 12 months.
If you plan to volunteer at school, please confirm in advance that you have Safe Environment clearance. Because the initial process for Safe Environment clearance can take several days to process contingent upon references, background checks, etc., we kindly ask that volunteers complete the process and ensure that they have obtained clearance prior to signing up for volunteer opportunities.
