Say hello to Mrs. Vicky Hubbard! The 2024-2025 school year marks Mrs. Hubbard's thirteenth year in Catholic education and tenth year at POP. A Chicago native, Mrs. Hubbard holds a B.B.A. from New Mexico State University as well as a religious certification from the Diocese of Dallas. Mrs. Hubbard is currently enrolled in an additional Catechesis Certification program at the University of Dayton with an expected completion date in 2024. Prior to serving as 5K-2nd grade religion teacher, Mrs. Hubbard served in the CLC where she developed a close bond with our youngest students. Mrs. Hubbard has not only seen her former students grow into faithful servants, but also a POP alumnus of her own.
In her capacity as 5K-2nd grade religion teacher, Mrs. Hubbard holds an active role in preparing students to receive the sacraments, including First Reconciliation and First Communion, as well as assisting with the annual Advent Program and Living Stations of the Cross. Mrs. Hubbard's favorite class projects includes acting out Bible stories with her students and washing CLC students' feet during the Lenten season. Be sure to look for Mrs. Hubbard at Sunday Mass as the Hubbards are also POP parishioners!
