Paige Nicklas

A native of McKinney, Texas, Ms. Paige Nicklas is back for her third year at POP! Ms. Nicklas graduated from Stephen F. Austin University in 2021 with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies. Following her graduation, Ms. Nicklas moved to the Bronx, New York, where she served as a Seton Teaching Fellow for a year of missionary work. Following her mission year, Ms. Nicklas answered God's calling back to the Diocese of Dallas to teach! Outside of the classroom, Ms. Nicklas enjoys the outdoors, a good book, and time in prayer with the Lord.

In one of the most heartwarming moments of the 2023-2024 school year, Ms. Nicklas was surprised when her now-fiancee arrived in her third grade classroom to POP the question. Ms. Nicklas has always referred to her students as her second faily, and her fiancee knew that both Ms. Nicklas's biological and "extended" families would be there when he proposed. Ms. Nicklas will formally becomes Mrs. Espitia in July, 2024.
