Welcome back Mrs. Melissa Cash! The Cash family relocated from Southern California to DFW for the 2021-2022 school year, and we're thrilled to have welcomed Mrs. Cash to the fourth grade team in 2022. The 2023-2023 school year marks Mrs. Cash's eighteenth year in education. Over the course of her career as a Catholic educator, Mrs. Cash has taught not only fourth grade, but second and fifth as well in Southern California. During the 2021-2022 school year, Mrs. Cash stayed busy substitute teaching at POP, working as a reading specialist at a local school, and developing curriculum as a consultant. Being in the classroom is Mrs. Cash's true passion, though, as she loves building relationships with students, implementing engaging lessons, and watching students grow in their faith and academics.
Mrs. Cash graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Elementary Education with a California credential. On move-in day of freshman year, Mrs. Cash met her husband Nathan, and they recently celebrated their sixteenth wedding anniversary. The Cashes share two children and current POP Stars, eighth grader Emily and fourth grader James. Outside of school, Mrs. Cash can be seen cheering on Emily at her elite softball games and James at his baseball, basketball, and soccer games. The Cashes are die-hard USC Trojans and LA Dodgers fans and enjoy traveling, hanging out with their Irishdoodle Turner, and cheering on their favorite teams in their free time.
