Lonnie Smith

After joining the POP family as a PreK4 teacher assistant in 2021, Mrs. Lonnie Smith is thrilled to return as a second-year PreK4 teacher for the 2024-2025 school year! Prior to joining the team as a full-time faculty member, Mrs. Smith served in our Extended Day Program (EDP) and a substitute teacher in the CLC. 

Mrs. Smith holds a B.S. in education from Baylor University and has previously taught both third and fourth grades. Mrs. Smith and her husband Rob share two children, Megan and Trey, both of whom are in their twenties. In her free time, Mrs. Smith enjoys playing tennis, watching sports, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends.
