Welcome back Mrs. Jennifer Everett! Now in her twentieth year in education, Mrs. Everett joined the POP family in 2018 as a K-4th grade religion teacher and made the leap to 5th grade in 2022. Prior to POP, Mrs. Everett worked in the Denton Independent School District as an elementary teacher, curriculum writer, and instructional coach for ten years and as a science, religion, and technology teacher at St. Mary of Carmel Catholic School for three years. Mrs. Everett loves having the opportunity to share in her students' faith formation and experiencing her students' joy as they begin to know, love, and serve God.
Mrs. Everett grew up in Dallas and lived in Denver, Colorado, as well as Austin and Corpus Christi prior to moving back to North Texas. She graduated with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi in 2004 and went on to obtain her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2007.
Mr. and Mrs. Everett share four children including POP '24 graduate Jillian current POP Star Alex. Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Everett enjoys reading good books, trying new recipes (however not always successfully), spending time outdoors, and being with the people she loves. The Everetts find great value in having the opportunity to obtain a quality Catholic education for their children and are honored to have the same opportunity to do the same for POP families.
