Bernadine Zimmerman

Say hello to Mrs. Bernadine Zimmerman! Mrs. Zimmerman joined the POP family in 2022 and has since been an absolute ray of light in the sixth grade hallways. Mrs. Zimmerman is originally from the Bahamas where she taught first and fourth grades for 16 years. She holds both a B.A. in Primary Education and a M.A. in English and Creative Writing. Ever the English teacher, Mrs. Zimmerman enjoys reading, writing, and exploring the state of Texas with her husband Mark.
 

Mrs. Zimmerman is known to repeat Colossians 3:23 with her students: "Whatever you do, do from the heart, as for the Lord and not for others." As long as we remember these words in our teaching and learning, Mrs. Zimmerman believes that we're already well on our way to a successful school year.
