Prince of Peace Catholic School is pleased to announce the hiring of Mrs. Erin Thoele as full-time Director of Advancement. Mrs. Thoele begins in her new role on November 14, 2022. Previously, she was the part-time Christian Service Coordinator at the school and served as President of the Parent Volunteer Organization from 2018-2020.
“Prince of Peace has been such a blessing for my family, "Thoele says. "As a POP parent for 20 years, I have witnessed the spiritual and academic growth that Prince of Peace has provided my children. I am excited to serve in this role under President Weber’s leadership, and to support the continued advancement of this wonderful community.”
“Mrs. Jones and I believe Mrs. Thoele will be really effective,” says POP President, Faustin Weber. “She’s about as connected to this community as a person could possibly be. She’s the parent of four POP graduates, a daughter who then became an Ursuline graduate, a son who is a Jesuit graduate, and two sons who are currently attending Jesuit. Because of her many years as a very involved parent and as our Christian Service Coordinator, she knows POP from its roots to its limbs—a person whom I can really rely upon as I begin here. I look forward to working with her.”
As Director of Advancement, Mrs. Thoele’s primary objective is to connect people to the mission and vision of Prince of Peace Catholic School, “advancing the brand” of the school both within our community and the DFW metroplex. Working within the President’s office, she will be the person chiefly in charge of the school’s philanthropic efforts, including the Annual Fund, the Gala, scholarships to assist younger Catholic families, and legacy giving.
Mrs. Thoele is married to Robert, her husband of 25 years. Their children are Kathleen (23), Connor (21), Brendan (18), and Liam (14).
Please pray for Mrs. Thoele as our new Director of Advancement, and continue to pray for the students, teachers, staff, and families of Prince of Peace Catholic School.
