We’re thrilled to announce our first-ever POP Staff Member of the Year, Ms. Amy Chauffe!
POP is an insurmountably special place, and we’re blessed to have not only an outstanding school faculty, but staff members who go above and beyond day in and day out to ensure that teachers are supported and students set up for success. It’s with great pride and gratitude that we recognize Ms. Amy Chauffe as our inaugural POP Staff Member of the Year for her impact on our school community.
A true “jill of all trades” and “yes woman,” Ms. Chauffe models Christian service across campus and even beyond the school day. Now in her nineteenth year at POP, Ms. Chauffe gives her time, energy, and all of her love to our school community with neither condition nor expectation of recognition. This school year, Ms. Chauffe formally transitioned into her current capacity as fourth grade teacher assistant, but her impact is palpable school-wide, including the print shop, the teacher workroom, and any class in need of last-minute coverage. (No laminator machine is a match for Ms. Chauffe). In addition to serving with the Extended Day Program (EDP) and POP Summer Camp, Ms. Chauffe volunteers after school as both a DPL basketball and PSIA coach. With grace in her heart and a smile on her face, Ms. Chauffe truly does it all.
Congratulations, Ms. Chauffe, and thank you for all you do for our school community — we’re so blessed by you!
