Prince of Peace welcomes our new School Advisory Council for the 2023-24 school year! Leading the Council this year are Jeff Tusa, president, and Leslie Baxter, vice-president, with Michael Culin as secretary. For the complete advisory council, go here.
We especially welcome three new School Advisory Council members for the 2023-24 school year:
Alex Kaleida, married to Anna, is father to Brooks. He is the CFO of Wingstop Restaurants, specializing in financial analysis and strategy.
Each will begin a three-year term with the Council in August. They replace Terri von Lehmden, former president of the Council, John Stewart, former chair of the Development committee, and Mike Neff, former chair of the Buildings and Grounds committee, all of whom completed their terms in June. Prince of Peace is grateful for their leadership and their service to the school.
The purpose of the Council is to extend and promote the mission of the school in terms of strategic planning, policy making, and securing and protecting the financial resources of the school. Standing committees of the Council include the Executive committee, which decides the agenda for the Council, the Finance committee, with primary responsibility for budget and tuitions, the Development committee, which oversees the Annual Fund and fund-raising at the school, and the Building and Grounds committee, focused on all facilities and grounds, with special attention to maintenance and safety.
“We have exceptional people advising us,” says Faustin Weber, president of the school. “They’re very successful in their professions and have expertise in many areas, which helps us in our decision-making. But I’ve found they’re good people, too, who love our school and want what’s best for our families and faculty. They’re a huge blessing to all of us!”
