7th Grade Students Place at SMU Regional Science & Engineering Fair

Congratulations to seventh grade students Reese B., Maverick H., and Sebastian Z. on being named first runners-up in the SMU Dallas Regional Science and Engineering Fair! With their project "Practice Makes Perfect... Or Does It?" having placed second at January's All Saints Invitational Science Fair, the team was excited to continue on to the SMU Dallas Regional Science and Engineering Fair to compete against both private and public schools. In addition to presenting their project, Reese, Maverick, and Sebastian also had to explain and answer questions regarding their scientific method and findings in front of a panel of judges and scientists. The team ultimately finished second in the Social & Behavior Sciences - Junior division and will advance to the 2023 Science and Engineering Fair in College Station on March 24-25.
