Welcome to Prince of Peace Catholic School Athletics!
We are proud to be involved in a vibrant, competitive sports environment through the Dallas Parochial League system; where student athletes are encouraged in their faith and instructed in athletic skills. Through the DPL league we field teams in competitive sports for grades 5 through 8 in the following: football, boys and girls flag football, co-ed cross country, girls volleyball, boys and girls basketball, futsal (5/6 grade), co-ed soccer (7/8 grade), baseball, softball, co-ed track and field, and golf(spring tournament). Our focus is on developing the whole athlete--from building strong foundations in sport, to instilling Catholic values, character and integrity. Over half of our students in grades 5-8 play at least one sport and many play multiple seasons. We are thrilled at the success of over 30 DPL Championships!
Prince of Peace also offers club Cheerleading for grades 5th-8th and Pep Squad for grades K-4. These clubs are non-competitive and aimed at allowing participants the ability to cheer for sports while also participating in other activities.
Prince of Peace Athletics are a major part of the school community and provide numerous opportunities for parents and students to become involved in the events and traditions of POP Catholic. All students, regardless of ability level are encouraged to participate and build lasting friendships and memories and maybe even a DPL Championship!
We look forward to supporting, encouraging and developing your student/athlete. For questions, please check out the frequently asked link, or reach out to [email protected].
Sincerely,
Ms. Cheryl Ballard
