We believe we are called to cooperate with God’s grace in the lives of our children to encourage a living encounter with Christ. We seek to form disciples of Jesus! Through our school Masses, prayer, study, and service initiatives, children are immersed in a culture where the life of faith is so pervasive that it is natural, and in one sense, almost unnoticed—like breathing. This is the great gift of Prince of Peace Catholic School: that the practice of faith is not an isolated “Sunday obligation,” but an integral part of daily life, providing meaning, direction, and synthesis to the fragments of children’s busy lives. In this, we welcome the participation of students and families of all Christian faiths, united in service to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
At the same time, we are committed to excellence in the classroom, so that students are prepared for high school and their futures beyond. Our test scores and our National Blue Ribbon School recognition (three times!) testifies to the strength of our faculty and the success of our students.So that we can attract and sustain the commitment of our teachers and keep tuitions affordable, we operate with a gap between tuition and the actual cost to educate each child. For 2024-2025, the gap is $1,710 per student. The gap is bridged through philanthropy, and the Annual Fund plays a pivotal role!The Annual Fund is a simple way of giving, requiring minimal cost and volunteer time. Parents take the lead in promoting the POP Share the Spirit Annual Fund campaign with help and support from the school. Annual Fund gifts go directly to school operations, providing vital support for current needs, including core activities, with the benefit of a tax deduction for donors. Our goal is 100% participation by parents and faculty. Reaching a high level of participation can be critical in obtaining outside support, as foundations look for a substantial level of commitment within organizations they choose to fund. No gift is too small, or too large!We are blessed with strong programs, gifted educators, supportive parents, and committed stakeholders.
